About Our Company

CMS Facilities Maintenance is a commercial janitorial cleaning service founded in Denver, Colorado by Craig Heber in 1975. CMS was one of the first area janitorial companies to offer relationship based, customized services and currently services clients in Nevada, Colorado, Utah, Nebraska and Mississippi. In May 2007, Craig incorporated Legacy Environmental Concepts, Inc. as a Sister Company to CMS to serve and accommodate the unique and specific needs of the hospitality and Gaming industry.

Facility maintenance is a highly human industry. Technology is vital, but it is human action and interaction that makes or breaks service. The CMS/Legacy team currently includes more than 800 well-trained technicians, managers and support personnel.

CMS and Legacy provide exceptional commercial janitorial cleaning services, hospitality services, client relations, and customer service while maintaining an extremely high level of security consciousness. While all of these elements are critical, it is our ability to provide a true customer service experience that appears to set us apart from the competition. CMS and Legacy have created a unique and visionary approach to customer service whereby we become a seamless part of our clients' operations and bring a culture change to our industry.

We are diligent in our practice of environmentally sound standards to keep our clients' buildings clean, healthy and safe for workers and guests.

We have modeled our staff training program after the Forbes Mobile Travel training system, with the goal of bringing the gold standard to our janitorial cleaning and hospitality services. In recognition of the implementation of these high standards, CMS and Legacy were awarded the prestigious CIMS (Clean Industry Management Standard) Green Certification from ISSA. CMS and Legacy are part of a very elite group of companies to receive this certification with Honors.

CMS and Legacy hold memberships in BOMA (Building Owners and Managers Association), IFMA (International Facility Management Association) and ISSA (International Sanitary Supply Association).

The CMS Facilities Maintenance is built on experience.

Supervision is the key to effective and efficient performance. There is no substitute for well trained, motivated on-site supervisors. The majority of our supervisors are created, not hired, and have been trained and promoted through the ranks of our company. They live and breathe our culture of excellence, every day, every way.

We provide effective, state of the art training programs for our staff. The knowledge and motivation that ongoing training provides, maximizes efficiency and productivity. Our training takes into account Company Philosophy, Position Specific and Customer Service Training to develop a "Culture of Excellence." We continually train on all aspects of operations, with a special emphasis on customer service using a program model after the Forbes Mobile customer service program.
